The National Junior Prospects has taken a page out of the National Hockey League Team's protocol. Released today, the NJPHL will judge the best playoff Beard-mustache combination for a Head Coach - an Assistant Coach - a U16 Player and a U18 Player at the Championship weekend.

The National Junior Prospects Hockey League finished its second regular season this past weekend with the U16 Midget Minor Division jostling for the top 8 playoff spots and the U18 Midget Major Division competing for the top 4 spots.

There were many crowd roars at Iorio Ice Arena and Foxboro Sports Center this weekend. Some were the agony of defeat and some were the thrill of victory. There were a half of a dozen games that were decided either in overtime or under ten seconds left in the game.

The NJPHL starts the 2012 new calendar year and final regular season games next week at the Iorio Ice Arena and Foxboro Sports Center in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The games will play at 8:00am-10pm Friday January 20th and Saturday, January 21st.
